I started this blog to record my thoughts and explorations as I research visual culture. My research will include not only reading and writing, but also cultural engagements and pursuits like Comic Con events and exhibits. While this research begins as part of a sabbatical, I intend to make pursuit of this topic a life-long endeavor. Along the way, I hope to develop a course visual culture class that focuses on comics, graphic novels, manga, and anime.
